#WomxnCrush Music (#WCM), a non-profit arts organization dedicated to creating opportunities for rising womxn songwriters, has announced that it is partnering with Elektra Music Group for a special female-focused webinar about the A&R process at a major label on Tuesday, October 6 at 2 PM ET.

The “WomxnCrush Music: Inside A&R at a Major Label Presented by Elektra Music Group” webinar is part of #WCM’s “Music Virtual Tour” series that launched this summer, which partners with venues and sponsors at tour stops in cities throughout the U.S. to donate proceeds to participating Womxn/BIPOC-Owned venues and artists. The #WCM/Elektra Music Group webinar coincides with last week’s October 1 “WomxnCrush Music On Tour: Spotlight On New York and Boston” virtual showcase.

Headquartered in New York, Elektra Music Group will offer some if its top female A&R executives for the webinar including A&R Research Analyst Tia Rabinovitz and A&R Manager Caterina Nasr, who will take attendees through the process of what it looks like to work with an A&R at a major label. During the session, artists and professionals will gain insights into how A&R managers find new talent, learn how to market yourself for discovery and learn what it takes to get a record made once you have an A&R manager.

This webinar is not just for artists, but for any industry professionals looking to learn more about marketability and visibility in today’s market.
