Ravaged by 2 Dawn Games is looking for a theme song. Here are a little more details.

2 Dawn Games is looking for a theme song for a Mad Max like game called Ravaged. Dirty, metal, rock that has a memorable tone. Games like Battlefield 3 have a memorable tone to the game. We want something people will remember when playing this Mad Max like game. Bits of metal \ rock as the game is gritty in tone. Music should not be campy or gamy.

The game is fast paced and a battle of two sides so the music should reflect that…perhaps with an industrial edge to reflect the ingame vehicles.

Something like the below would be good…but with a memorable/catchy melody:
Kevin MacLeod – Movement Proposition

This may be too “epic”, but makes us want to get in game! :)
Pfeifer Broz – Absolute Anthropoid

Battlefield 1943:
Battlefield 1943 Theme Song

Halo is another example of a memorable melody and they use it in a million ways (composer’s background is in commercial jingles):
Halo Theme Song

Not so melodic, but it’s fast and gritty:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Here’s a little about Ravaged:

Set in a post-apocalyptic earth ripped apart by natural disasters, it chronicles the struggle between the “Resistance” and the “Scavengers” as they fight for vanishing resources, disputed territory, and their very survival.

The Scavengers are an overpowering band of murderous savages bent on taking every last inch of land and every resource for themselves. And they will stop at nothing to achieve this goal. Their success is certain unless someone rises up against them. The Resistance is the world’s last hope against the Scavengers and humanity’s only chance to restore civilization. Days before the Apocalypse, a small band of freedom fighters was able to seek shelter deep below the Earth, storing just enough weapons and food to survive the catastrophe and emerge to rebuild the world. But outside this refuge the criminals and less fortunate of the world were left to the elements. Only the most savage survived.
