Excerpt from the blog:
“HTML5, as you probably already know, is still an emerging technology. As a result, some aspects of it are rather rough around the edges. As I began trying to develop various solutions for iPad users in Spring 2012 I discovered that audio capabilities in HTML5 aren’t just rough, they’re practically non-existent and, in many cases, broken beyond usability. Add to that the fact that useful information about HTML5 Audio is coming from so many corners of the web as the standard progresses and new APIs emerge and this blog became an obvious necessity.

Hopefully it is a valuable asset to developers and will enable web audio to mature at a rapid pace.

If you have submissions you’d like considered for inclusion on the HTML5 Audio blog, please send them to studio@jory.org.”
