This library consists of various sounds recorded without serious intention or concept on one of my many visits of Dererov Mlyn (Derer´s Mill), a place, where our cottage stands. Dererov Mlyn is a small settlement about 10 km away from the town I live in. There are more cottages, each one with piece of ground, where vegetables and fruits are grown by gardeners and also by me. There are always few interesting things to find there and in my case, also to record. So I have been recording everything I stumbled upon… lots of things in a toolshed, cellar, or just lying in the garden and also in gardens of my neighbours to the left and
right. Pieces of metal plates, various wooden parts, sticks, plastic and iron barrels, rusty wires… I didn´t forget to record also my footsteps in our wet and cold cellar… Some of samples are a bit distorted, but it just adds to the atmosphere of slightly uncared-for place… :)
